About Us -

Child Care Services Training provides training and assessment for the nationally recognised qualifications CHC30113 Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care, CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC50213 Diploma of School Age Education and Care. Child Care Services Training was established in 2006 to meet the changing needs of the child care sector, to provide relevant, flexible and high quality training.

Our research indicates that students want to combine work and study, and want a training organisation to fit in with their needs. We believe our blend of both theory and ‘hands on’ supportive facilitators will enable students to reach their goal of gaining a qualification.

Child Care Services Training is a subsidiary of Child Care Services Australia. Child Care Services Australia manages/operates four long day care centres and one Out of School Hours Care centres. The company employs 60 people to work in its centres in a range of positions at a range of levels.

Our Team

Judy Atkinson

CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of the company is Judith Atkinson, who has been in the sector for over 30 years. Judith has been on numerous child care committees/boards, both at the State and Federal level. She was the President of Australian Federation of Child Care Associations for 3 years (now Childcare Associations Australia) and Childcare South Australia for seven years, and has been a board member of the National Childcare Accreditation Council for 5 and a half years as well as being appointed to two Federal Ministerial Councils for more than 4 years.

Lisa Tregenza

Executive Director

Lisa Tregenza is the Executive Director of Child Care Services Training and is responsible for executive decisions and the day to day operation of the RTO. Lisa has Master of Education, Bachelor of Teaching (Junior Primary), Diploma of Community Services (Child Care) and a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training. Lisa is also a Child Safe Environments (Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect) Trainer.

Melanie Cardillo

Facilitator

Melanie Cardillo has been training in the early childhood education and care sector for the past 6 years. She has 10 years’ experience working and Directing within Outside School Hours Care. Melanie has a Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma in Children’s Services (Out of School Hours Care) and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Melanie is passionate about leadership in Early Childhood Education and the development of new educators coming into the sector.

Kerry Johnson

Kerry Johnson has been a Trainer in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for the past 4 years. Kerry has a Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Kerry has 12 years’ working in long day care centres. Kerry is passionate about meeting the needs of young students within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector.

Monika Cardillo

Monika Cardillo is employed with Child Care Services Training as a facilitator. She has been in Child Care for the last 32 years.
Monika has gained an Associate Diploma in Social Science (Child Care), Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management.

Her Career has encompassed working in the fields of OSHC and vacation care programs, long day care centres, student facilitation and as a Director in various children’s services.

Monika is passionate about providing high quality care for all children in centres, maintaining and developing curriculum and pedagogy to ensure children have access to holistic programs which encompasses the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard.
As part of her overall vision Monika believes that as a facilitator she is able to guide and influence students’ knowledge and practices to ensure future educators are equipped to meet the challenging needs of early childhood.
