Safe Environments for Children and Young People 'Through Their Eyes'

Child Care Services Training facilitators are Department of Child Protection approved and registered.
Full day Courses $90.00
3 hour refresher training $40.00
Training held at 20D James Lane, Salisbury.

Full day Courses: $75.00 per person (Minimum 15)
3 hour refresher training: $30.00 per person. (Minimum 15)
We can come to you and deliver the training at your workplace on a Saturday or on a week night. We can also deliver at our Salisbury Training rooms.

Training includes:

  • Child Protection in Context
  • 'Through our Eyes': Values and Attitudes
  • Risk and Harm: SA Legislation
  • Sexual Abuse
  • 'Through Their Eyes': Disclosure
  • Safe Organisations
  • Reporting Suspicion of Risk and Harm

In South Australia a wide range of people are required by law to notify the Child Abuse Report Line of situations where child abuse and neglect are suspected. It is a requirement that all people working with children in an Early Learning centre have their Child Safe environments training.

This week the children have been engaged in a project of designing and using the tools to create our own obstacle course. This has been a journey of mental and physical stimulation and challenge. Resilience was built as we observed children repeatedly attempting the challenge, adapting their thinking strategies and motor planning each time.
