First Aid Courses

These are nationally accredited courses tailored for educators and support staff in early childhood and school-age care environments. It equips participants with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to first aid emergencies involving infants, children, and adults, including managing asthma and anaphylaxis situations.

Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

$135 - 3HR PRACTICAL SESSION WITH EXTERNAL THEORY COMPLETED PRIOR

This is a nationally recognised course designed for educators, support staff, and carers working with children. It equips participants with the skills and knowledge required to respond effectively to a range of first aid situations, including asthma, anaphylaxis, and basic life support, in line with legal and workplace requirements. This course meets the first aid, CPR, and emergency response requirements for those working in childcare, early learning, and school environments.

HLTAID009

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

$45 - 2HR SESSION INCLUDING PRACTICAL & THEORY

This is a nationally recognised course that teaches the essential skills and knowledge required to perform CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This course is ideal for anyone who may be required to respond to emergency situations where CPR is needed. Participants will learn how to recognise and respond to signs of cardiac arrest, perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.

    • 3 hour practical session only

    • Minimum number: 8

    • Sessions will be scheduled from 8am - 2.30pm or 9am - 3.30pm

    • 6.5 hour full theory and practical session

    • Minimum number: 8

    • Sessions will be scheduled from 5.30pm - 8.30pm

    • 3 hour practical session only

    • External theory to be completed prior

    • Minimum number: 10

    • Sessions will be scheduled from 8.30am - 11.30am

    • 3 hour practical session only
